Beautiful As you are.

I find that self esteem is a huge problem among both women and men. Women are told they need to conform to a certain standard of beauty in order to be considered attractive women must be slender and have the all important thigh gap and decent size breasts the list goes on. It is the same for men they are told that you need to have visible muscle definition, you can’t cry, men don’t show emotions, you need to be tall and again the list goes on.

I’m a bigger girl, I have never had a thigh gap and truthfully I don’t see it a thing I need to achieve but I know so many men and women, girls and boys who think they need to achieve these unrealistic health goals. Now I should say, there’s nothing wrong with being healthy, nothing wrong with with being slender or curvy, muscly or not. There’s a song that’s been stuck in my head for the past few weeks

it’s called Scars to Beautiful by Alessia Cara and honestly I feel that because of the unrealistic standards people put on others that we carry the scars of that, we are hurt by society and it doesn’t matter what is said we are taught that we are not enough because of our curves or our bones.

It’s taken me a long time to accept my weight and the fact that I’ll probably never be in the range I want to be but one line of that song stuck out to me. “You should know you’re beautiful just the way you are
And you don’t have to change a thing, The world could change its heart” the thing is if we were meant to be a certain way all of us would have been born that way. We can loose or gain weight, we can be more than what we think we are because we are all beautiful no matter size, shape, bones, curves, muscles, man, woman, trans gendered, gay or lesbian.

Self love is the hardest thing to achieve in this life due to the fact that society tells us we need to be a certain way. I have a friend she probably 108 lbs max she think she needs to loose weight she maybe consumes 400 calories a day. This kind of diet puts the body in to a starvation mode so the body will put on fat with any thing you eat. Another friend of mine who’s a personal trainer he says that you should eat smaller meals more often veggies are great nutrients and don’t really count towards your daily calorie intake also having a small snack of a herbal tea and a ¼ cup of yogurt and some nuts like almonds will make sure you are not hungry when you wake up in the morning allowing you to do things healthier.

If you are having a hard time with your weight please consult a doctor and a nutritional specialist as to a proper health program and don’t listen to the junk diets on the internet. Your doctor can help you better. But the one thing that will make the biggest difference in your health is your attitude love your self the way you are, treat yourself how you deserve to be treated, love yourself and you will find that it makes a huge difference in the way you feel about yourself and how others begin to view you. Most of the problems is that other people will project their own insecurities on other to make themselves feel better, that’s a bullying thing.

Trust me when I say you could be considered the sexiest man in the universe but unless you were a good person, kind and caring I wouldn’t look twice, for me it’s true that personality is defiantly the way to my heart 😉

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY YOU ARE. Remember that because that’s the most important thing love your bones, love your curves, love your belly, love your skinny love yourself it doesn’t matter what others think because when your beautiful on the inside it shows on the outside.

Remember that you are loved in all your shapes and sizes and make the world a better place love your self love others. Love begets love
